Yes, and this is the normal case. Most of the operations Athreix works in run on an ERP with decades of tooling, PLCs, spreadsheets and paper trails. Athreix builds around what is already in place rather than requiring a rip-and-replace.

Yes. Athreix has deployed inline visual inspection for appliance control panels, real-time X-ray defect detection for aluminium castings, and on-premise safety systems for PPE detection and person tracking. These run on the factory floor against real optics, lighting and conveyor speeds.

Yes. Athreix runs a reproducible optimization pipeline covering quantization, pruning, distillation, ONNX conversion and runtime compilation, benchmarked against the actual target hardware. Exports target TensorRT, OpenVINO and ONNX Runtime.

It starts with a short brief describing the outcome that must change, the systems already in place, and the environment the solution has to operate in. From there Athreix runs a discovery phase that maps the constraints and defines a measurable success criterion before any build begins.

It depends on the operating environment rather than the model. A focused discovery sprint runs in weeks. A production system that has to integrate with existing equipment, pass validation and be installed on site runs longer. Athreix scopes both after discovery rather than quoting a duration up front.

The stack is chosen per system rather than fixed. Deployed systems use Python, PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO and CUDA for models and edge inference; FastAPI, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis and vector databases for services and data; and Next.js, React Native and WebRTC for interfaces.

Yes. Every system ships with a human control layer, defined fallback behaviour and observability. The intent is that a person can see what the system decided, why, and override it — particularly in clinical, industrial and financial settings.

Athreix signs NDAs, builds on secure data infrastructure, and supports fully on-premise deployment where data cannot leave the site. Security requirements are mapped during discovery alongside latency, hardware and governance constraints rather than added afterwards.

Success is defined in the operation's own terms before a line of code is written — cycle time, defect rate, cost per unit, hours returned. Athreix measures against that number rather than against model accuracy alone.
